You are invited to submit an application to the 20th Annual Show.

Application Information

1. Application form must be accompanied with the booth fee, made payable to The Friends of Conroe, Inc. (This check will be deposited ONLY upon acceptance.) After Sept. 1st only money orders, cashiers checks, or cash accepted.
2. Photos/Slides: Submit 3 photos or slides with application. Slides are for screening purposes only.
3. Each person intending to share a space must make separate entry and be willing to take the space singly if only one is accepted.
4. Slides/photos and booth fee check will be returned to those entrants not selected to exhibit. Slides/photos belonging to those selected to exhibit will be held until after their exhibit dates for re-check purposes.
5. Exhibitors agree that the Festival may duplicate their slides for use in promotion without further notice or compensation.
6. Artisan's Showcase Artist Requirements: The work will be selected on craftsmanship and aesthetic qualities. Accepted categories: Painting (watercolors, oils, acrylics. etc.): Graphics (drawings, etchings, serigraphs, etc.); Photography; Sculpture: Woodwork; Fibers (weavings, macrame, stitchery, clothing, etc.); Pottery; Jewelry; Leather; Glass; Mixed Media.
7. Commercial Vendor Requirements: A special high visibility area for professional companies promoting and selling products and services. Manufactured, mass produced products, small antiques, gifts, hair products, imported artifacts, t-shirts, candles, home accessories, clothing and accessories are acceptable.
8. General Store Vendor Requirements: All media of Contemporary and Traditional Handmade Arts & Crafts.
9. A selection committee will approve all vendors, there are no exceptions.

Festival Rules

1. Exhibitors will be expected to display and sell work of the same quality and nature as that submitted for screening. The Festival retains the right to ask for removal of any objects which are distinctly inferior to those selected. No one is allowed to solicit outside of their booth.
2. Shared spaces are available.
3. Once accepted, an entrant is committed to show. No refunds will be made for entrant withdrawal.
4. There are no rain dates and no refunds in the event of rain.
5. The Festival provides daytime & overnight security; however, entrant exhibits all work at their own risk. The Cajun Catfish Festival assumes no liability for damage, loss or theft of any individual's work.
6. All sales will be transacted by entrant. There are no commissions.
7. No food or beverage may be sold by exhibitors.
8. Samples or other give-aways may only be given with prior approval of the Event Producer.
9. Submission of an entry to the Festival constitutes agreement on the part of the entrant to the terms and conditions set forth in this prospectus.
10. Further details and instructions will be mailed to accepted exhibitors.
11. Exhibitors are responsible for obtaining a sales tax I.D. number. A copy of this should be mailed in with your application.
12. No items such as gun replicas, knives, popping noise makers and drug paraphernalia.
13, Political Booths: All business done must be conducted within the confines of your booth space.

The Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival is a premier outdoor fall event, sponsored by The Friends of Conroe, who are committed to providing an outstanding family event while creating a positive selling atmosphere for the exhibitors. * No one will be allowed in to set up after gates close at 3:00 p.m. If late, set-up must be Saturday morning between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.

General Information

Festival Exhibit Areas

Commercial Expo: Manufactured, mass produced items, antiques, collectibles, business products and services.
Artisans Showcase: Juried items of handmade fine arts and crafts of all media
General Store: All media of contemporary and traditional handmade arts & crafts
Nonprofit: Civic and other types of organizations may show & sell items.

Exhibit Space

  • Show spaces are approximately 10' x 10' (100 sq. ft.), covered space with lights.
  • Electrical hook-ups available at an additional cost of $25 per 110V plug. (220V not available.)
  • Festival will not provide tables, chairs, signs, or additional display equipment.

Security

Overnight security provided Friday and Saturday night.
